John H. Benckenstein opened his offices in Beaumont in 1928, beginning the roots of the present law firm. In 1963, he invited Lipscomb Norvell, Jr. to join him in his practice. In 1982, Benckenstein, Norvell & Nathan, L.L.P. formed. In March of 1990, the firm opened its Houston office to more fully accommodate clients in the Houston area. The attorneys of Benckentein, Norvell & Nathan, L.L.P. have extensive trial experience in courts throughout Texas.
