MICHAEL R. MCGOWN, born 1946; admitted to Texas Bar and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in 1971; also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the U. JERRY J. NATHAN, born 1936; admitted to Texas Bar in 1962; also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Former Fellow – American College of Mortgage Attorneys; Former Member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel; Martindale-Hubbell® AV PreeminentTM. Mr. Nathan received acknowledgement from Martindale-Hubbell® attesting to his twenty-five years of being AV Rated (1985-2010), and he continues to be AV rated. Mr. Nathan joined the firm in 1982 and is now “Of Counsel” to the firm.

Mr. Nathan is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lamar University Foundation. He recently served as a member of the University of Texas Centennial Commission.

Mr. Nathan has formerly served as Chairman of the Christus Health Southeast Texas Governing Board; and as Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board. He is a former President (1984) and Director of the Downtown Beaumont YMCA; and a former President (1988) and Director of the Beaumont Metropolitan YMCA, of which he is an Honorary Life Member.
